The Golden Rule: 1 lb = 1 Cubic Inch
The standard rule in the memorial industry is straightforward: one pound of a pet’s (or person’s) healthy body weight equals approximately one cubic inch of remains.
Example: If your faithful dog weighed 30 lbs, you will need an urn with a volume of at least 30 cubic inches.

To make your choice easier, we have categorized our handmade ceramic urns into two main sizes:

What if I am "Between" Sizes?
If your pet was exactly 45 lbs, or if you are unsure of the exact weight, we always recommend choosing the larger size. It is much better to have a little extra space than to have an urn that is too small. You can always place a small memento, like a lock of fur or a collar, inside alongside the remains.
